Autumn is when the energy is beginning to draw inwards in preparation for winter hibernation.
A great way to calm the senses and move inward is to listen to beautiful music, move quietly in nature, spend time with your pets, develop a breathing practice or ask yourself what your body needs at this moment? And then do that.
Illness that occurs often has a component of dryness like a chronic dry cough or dry skin. The organs that are affected by dryness are the lungs and the large intestine.
An excellent way to support these organs is to consume steamed or slightly cooked pear. Avoid cans and microwaves.
